Mr. Green has been our client since August of 2013. Since entering the program he has come a long way! When we first met him he was sleeping in his van and on the cooler nights slept at a local overnight shelter. He now has stable housing, Veteran benefits that were obtained through our SOAR program and defintly has new look on life!! Well done Mr. Green!
In November of 2014 Mr. Carter, an Army Veteran, called our Homeless Hotline number and was immediately referred to our SSVF program, a case management referral program for homeless veterans to connect them directly to available resources. He had been living on the streets of West TN for the past 3 years, occasionally sleeping in overnight shelters. Then in early December Mr. Carter was enrolled to our Supportive Housing Program when housing became available. He now has a home to call his own complete with furniture thanks to your donations!!!
